I've been in the Prog metal community for a while now. I can definitely say the community is a lot nicer and way more open minded (from my experience). Instead of bitching about what is or isn't metal, why not actually give other bands a chance. So what if "metalcore" or other silly sub genres are uncool, why don't you focus on the music and be willing to explore other genres? (Heck, Protest The Hero was considered metalcore for a while, you think I cared? No, cause I love they're music, not the label).Needless to say, Chris Adler is amazing, and so is the entire group of musicians in this band. I especially love the breakdown around 2:30.
