After he passed I had a dream in which I was in a room with Warren and a couple of other unfamiliar gents. I asked him whence came the inspiration for a particular song I liked, and he replied, somewhat dismissively, that as he was usually high when he composed that he really couldn't tell me.

Well, it could be, but they shoot a lot of films and things there because it's cheaper, so she doesn't necessarily have to be Yugoslavian. Just for an example, a good chunk of the film "Cold Mountain" was filmed there. I get the feeling the girl in the song is American, and probably from California.

I always think of the woman who plays the character Delenn on Babylon 5 when I hear this. It's that line about being Yugoslavian. Her name is Mira Furlan.
