Buckets of rain

Buckets of tears

Got all them buckets comin' out of my ears

Buckets of moonbeams in my hand

I got all the love, honey baby

You can stand

I been meek

And hard like an oak

I seen pretty people disappear like smoke

Friends will arrive, friends will disappear

If you want me, honey baby

I'll be here

Like your smile

And your fingertips

Like the way that you move your lips

I like the cool way you look at me

Everything about you is bringing me

Misery

Little red wagon

Little red bike

I ain't no monkey but I know what I like

I like the way you love me strong and slow

I'm takin' you with me, honey baby

When I go

Life is sad

Life is a bust

All ya can do is do what you must

You do what you must do and ya do it well

I'll do it for you, honey baby

Can't you tell?

I happen to see the Widespread Panic video with Houser a while back. At the end is a segment with Vic...caught my attention...a month or so ago browsing in my local used CD shop I came across SIlver Lake. I have not been captured as hard by another artist in a very long time. He is/was and forever will be missed as much as he was brilliant. And to tell the truth, as much as a hardcore Dylan fan that I am, Vic's lyrics are more poetic than anyone I have ever heard in song. I am so sorry he's gone

So true, I don't think Dylan liked many bands who did his shit. He said; Jimi's All Along the Watchtower was better then his. I believe he feels the same about this #! RIP you're the music Vic!

As good as Emmylou's Every Grain of Sand. There, I said it. ;-)

@hblide ... All along the watchtower? Bob Dylan was not the greatest singer, he could put brilliant emotion in his songs and was an incredible writer but his standard singing was worse than many

This is the only cover of a Bob Dylan song that I have ever heard that could teach Bob something. The mood, the production is perfect. Live, raw, full of emotion. Good form Vic.. HBL

Would've been perfect on Neil Young's "Harvest", back in the early 70s. Damn good tune.
