I thought this was gonna be some shitty old school death metal or thrash metal. Nah, this song is amazing.

What I am doing is, taking that part of the song and playing blast beats on the snare, but playing reduced triplets, so instead of 4 hits on the open hi hat in a single measure, it is only being hit 3 times, but evenly, making them triplets, but slower then if the hi hat were to be hit 6 times in the measure, which is why it is reduced, or dichotomized in half, so it is slower then the average 4/4 notes on the hi hat, which makes it sound great and unique, which is why it works, but to some people, it sounds weird. You will eventually get to understand it a bit more throughout life and appreciate it more as your brain will naturally get used to it!!!

He is pretty much doing blast beats with 8th notes on the hats.

I wanna know what the drummer is playing from 0:45 - 0:56 seconds. Like what is that oddly off beat high-hat on? Every time I hear that part my brain just don"t understand.

these guys are the best fucking thing since Death. Most tech bands are too sloppy.. then other ones are too technical.. then you get the other ones that don't have enough going on with shitty vocals and lack of solos..THANK YOU, VALE OF PNATH, for making me cum a little bit :D

The vocal range from the vocalist/growler, so far in my opinion, is fucking brutal! There are times when the vocals remind me of Trevor Strnad's vocals (of The Black Dahlia Murder) and there are time when his fast (growling) vocals just remind me of The Faceless all with a hint of black metal influence. Fucking brutal.

The breakdown and solo part combined are superb! Never bores me, cheers!

Just a perfect amount of melody and catchiness without breaking out of the death metal mold. Really head banging shit. Sick album, the entire thing.

I wasn't sure what this band was going to be like, genre-wise, when I first heard it. Well, bought the album, and it's fucking awesome. I'm a technical death, or simple death, nut. And I loved this. I also like melo death.
