Tuve la oportunidad de verlos en directo "casi" con la formación original en Madrid en 1997, y os aseguro que esta canción sonó arrolladora.... QUE GRUPAZOOOO

Listened to this a lot in high school, and in college we often argued about which had the better solo, this album or Lights Out. It was a tough choice but I think this briefer solo was a bit more intense and better. Couldn't go wrong either way, and still can't.

Lights Out is the sixth studio album by the British rock band UFO, released in May and also on 11 October 1977 . All songs are band originals except for "Alone Again Or" which is a cover of a song by the band Love. The album was UFO's first to feature lush string arrangements alongside more complex song structures than their previous albums. Producer Ron Nevison brought in Alan McMillan to handle the string and horn arrangements. The most notable song to feature the orchestral coloring was "Love to Love" which became one of the band's most successful singles. In 1994, a CD comprising this album and No Heavy Petting was released by BGO Records.

Thanks for posting this one! Takes me back to junior year in High school, listening to this while driving my 73 AMC purple Javelin :) Being a chick, that was a great car!

UFO is along with other older bands underrated. Especially today. Michael Schenker is still going strong with his Project "Michael Schenker's Temple of Rock" and UFO are still active with their new album "A Conspiracy of Stars". While both careers of Michael Schenker and UFO has been uneven there is plenty good stuff to be found. How many famous songs (even rock songs) are even close to this track for example? I am not even trying to be fanboyish but UFO has done a couple of albums that make a lot of other bands a good run for their money. Media has set so much focus on bands and artists like Guns N' Roses, KISS, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Bruce Springsteen and AC/DC for many years now. I am personally a fan, more or less, of all those. But it's time to make others shine too! Rock history contains more good bands and artists than most people are aware of.
