The Hip are the best at making sad, or might we say melancholy tunes, with great guitar stranding and Gord's blow-everything in the path down booming vocals. Tunes that make a lasting impact and make you want to listen to them over and over again. There aren't that many in history who can do that. And their albums are solid works of art-every one I've bought have been works of art in music.
