Lol did yall hear Flo at the end ? She made sure she had a lil solo. Listen closely at the end when they are holding the last note.

What happen to music? After the 1970's everything just disappeared. Thank God for tape device machines.

Mary looking over at Diana in the beginning like, "REALLY?"

diana left out `hear`in the first line of the song...apart from the other omissions...strange, because she recovered so well...this song brought them back after a lean time back in the 1960`s.

Something wrong in this clip. Mary glances worriedly at Diana before she even starts singing. Diana looks to me as if something is certainly troubling her. Wonder what went down before they took the stage. A fight? Berry Gordy trippin' about something? Whatever the case, our girl overcomes. And I'm completely taken with how great she and they sound live. Absolutely marvelous.

Diane was supposed to begin the song with ,"You've given me a true love and every day I thank you love for a feeling that's so new, so exciting, so inviting!" Instead, she forgets the intro to the song and goes right into the main part of the song! I give her credit for a great recovery! This song was performed on live television (Mike Douglas Show) and could have been a complete disaster! Diane DID mess it up.................she also SAVED it!

Lol…..Diane…..You screwed up the "lyrics" in the intro, totally off tempo! You probably had done it on rehearsal and Mary was just looking at you, knowing you as a "fuck-up" would do it again, and you did!

Did you see the way Mary Wilson looked at Diiana right before she started singing? Damn, that was one evil mean look. hahaha Bitter and jealous anyone?

Diana Ross has a classic Egyptian look to me yet she is 100% American. She is one of the Best. They were a very pleasant appearing singing trio.

Oh my, check out Mary's gaze'' at Diana...loved 'em all tho!Only a 'pro' could miss a word ( intro-Diana) & keep singing & charmed the audience.

Oh my God, what a video this is. Diana Ross had so much charisma on stage back then. I have goosebumps watching her in this. Thanks so much for sharing.

oh so sweet, live and fresh! Can't get that from today's singers?

The story is they had just learned and recorded this song only two or three days earlier and it probably had something to do with Diana messing up the intro. But star and trooper that she was she didn't let that stop her. Plus they were live.
