http://flexiblepeanuts.yolasite.com/

a great website about The Police.

Don't tell the director I said so

But are you safe Miss Gradenko?

We were at a policy meeting

They were planning new ways of cheating.

I didn't want to rock your boat,

But you sent this dangerous note,

You've been letting your feelings show.

Are you safe Miss Gradenko?

Miss Gradenko are you safe?

Are you safe Miss Gradenko?

Miss Gradenko are you safe?

Is anybody alive in here?

Is anybody alive in here?

Is anybody alive in here?

Nobody but us

Nobody but us.

Is anybody alive in here?

Nobody but us.

Your uniform doesn't seem to fit-

You're much too alive in it.

You've been letting your feelings show.

Are you safe Miss Gradenko?

Miss Gradenko are you safe?

Is anybody alive in here?

Is anybody alive in here?

Is anybody alive in here?

Nobody but us in here

Nobody but us.

Nobody but us in here

Nobody but us.

Sting said in 2008 this one and Mother were his two favorite Police songs. I just watched a show hosted by Elvis Costello were he said it. The other two guys liked his answer, they both seemed to like Message In A Bottle a lot.

Guys and gals, I love Stewart Copeland as much as you do, but I think that Andy Summer and Sting are also excellent musicians in their own right. Sting's bass is so present in their songs, his voice is great, and the guitars match the drums very well in that where Copeland leaves a snare out or whatever, Andy does little arpeggios with one note removed and other cool stuff like that.

Master Piece Check Out Klark Kent, Its Copeland playing everything with the Police sound that he created,

Such a cool progression, and a representation of their odd time signatures and their pseudo-reggae sound.

Stewart Copeland is really the unappreciated best member of the band

Thank you, peanuts, for your slideshow, which I DID enjoy! This is a fine example of what made the Police...the Police. The subject matter, the succinct way it was rendered into a song, the unique percussion, vocals, guitar riffs...they all combined to produce a sound you couldn't mistake for anyone else's. Period.

Oh man, is Stewart's future Spyro the Dragon sound strong on this one!

30 years ago, I found this a silly song that was somewhat out of place in one of the most extraordinary rock albums ever. But in spite of the Cold War having ended and making the song's theme dated, "Miss Gradenko" grew in me over the years and now I often find myself wanting to listen to it. This is definitely Stewart's signature song - not only because he composed it, but because the drumming is his best ever. Outstanding!
