Those harmonies starting around 3:35 always send chills down my spine. Good stuff, lads, good stuff.

Ray and Dave Davies and their Kinks celebrate 50 years this year!!! I hope we can get them to play. I know they have exchanged songs with each other. Fingers are crossed here.

Just beautiful. I truly love this record. These lyrics have pulled me out of some pretty damn deep holes. You can't, or at least I've never, walked away from this record still as deep as you were. Listen to 'Life Goes On' a couple-five times in a row and no cold wind ever feels that cold again. Thanks Fellas. A lot.

amazing how the kinks supposedly did all their best work in the late 60s and early 70s, yet those albums on arista are all gems and a discography most other band would kill for. they really may have been the best of them all

Apart from this music being incredible, may I just say the Davies brother are fine.

With all due respect to you and to Dave: no. Just no. On every level imaginable.

I definitely prefer Ray's distinctive voice on lead vocals. The songs wouldn't be the same, however, without Dave's fantastic harmonies (not to mention his great guitar)!
