it reminds me of the old dear hunter demos. have you heard camera &/or economics? it's reminiscent of that. hopefully looking at this song through that lens will help you to like it more.

I purchased the Lifetime membership, and got this emailed to me. So, just for clarification... From the original email: "Now, and I want to make a plea here, this EP is for you. We may press up a physical copy at some point, but until then you will have the only copies. This is yours, you guys deserve it, and the reason we recorded it was specifically to give you something unique." From a follow up: "Now, I know in the past (with the branches ep) someone leaked it, and that doesn't upset me,"

I was kinda taken aback by the whole fan package idea. I mean, I always saw TDH as a very real, accessible band. I mean, Casey did living room concerts for fucks sake. This lifetime fan package seems like a step in the direction of selling out. I'm glad someone's making it accessible to other people. If you need money, then don't fish for it. If you don't, you'll get more donations, I bet you.

Okay, I just had to say it... Don't get me wrong, I am a HUGE TDH fan. I listen to Act I, II, and III religiously! Absolutely in love with everything they have done. When I got this, I was pretty damn excited. Track 1 and 2 were awesome, but when I listened to this song, I couldn't help but laugh. Doesn't anyone agree that this song is just not TDH? I was a little disappointed. But eh... Who's to complain? There's plenty of other life changing songs by this band to help me forget about this one.

I think it warrants being said that I, and probably many other TDH fans, would have bought this given the opportunity too. But some couldn't afford it, I'm sure, and others, like myself, didn't check the TDH site often enough to see the package before it was sold out and totally would have bought it had there been more of them. On a separate note, I've been starving for new TDH since almost a month after Act III was released and I greatly appreciate you putting this up.

Once again, thanks for sharing these tracks with us. As someone mentioned before, there are fans out there who do support their music and buy their merch and attend their shows; music shouldn't be a privilege.

I laugh at how at least one person for each of the songs has complained that this guy has leaked the music out. So it's unacceptable for him to leak music of a limited release, yet music videos and song videos just like this are littering YouTube are fine? Wouldn't any old CD be exclusive to whoever bought it, too? To those who complain about him leaking the Brances EP - You have a long road to walk down if you wish to complain to everyone that leaked music on YouTube. TDH are awesome, btw.
