Ranking Roger Charlery may have been born & raised in Birmingham,England but if he would have sung in a brum accent it's not the same is it! Call it paying homage to the original Jamaican D.J's, U-Roy, Count Machuki, King Stitt, Dennis Alcapone,........the list is endless, but the point is, it works because Roger hails from Caribbean Stock, it come's natural to sing this style, he grew up listening to this kind of music and anyone who does'nt get that are basically just ignorant or probably think reggae is fu@king Milli Vanilli.
