Love this song. One of my favourite clash songs. The dialogue and the instrumentation reminds me of 80's cartoons like TMNT and Spiderman. That scum in the city vibe. Love it

i didn't know the clash made this song as a tribute to franky melvin the guardian angel leader from newark, nj who was shot & killed by a newark police officer while both were responding to a burglary at a bodega, i was only 10 or 11 when it happened but i remember the entire neighborhood was devastated. his death changed the direction of so many peoples lives especially his kids in ways i cant explain here. he taught martial arts, saved lives & was known in our neighborhood as Woo-Chee.

@sasa47792 Nope, this song is about the Guardian Angels in NYC and the murder of Frank Melvin, a Guardian Angel who was shot by a policeman just because he was running towards the police to offer assistance.
