True 'acid jazz' here folks. THIS is the real sound of the 1990's that was always on the radar....but never became "the defining" sound. It's cool. Fans of this scene, and those of us who spent our twenties in the 1990's will never forget! The below clip is from 1991

Very warm feelings hearing this song, me and my Mother use to listen to this during the late 80's early 90's on her way home from work. Great memories, I love music that helps me reminensce. This song was out before Mary J Blidge debuted. That's a long time ago. Tracy Spencer, Karyn White, Peebles, Cherelle, Vesta, Stephanie Mills, a young Regina Belle, and the GREAT Anita Baker, all ruled the airwaves during this time...not to mention "I like your smile" Shanice. Now that I think about it Brandy hadn't debuted yet. But as you can see the lineup was SOLID TALENT and the last generation of "True Musicians.'
