This was Josh Duggar's favorite song, he added 'on' to the title.

This is rare song, isn't it? I stumbled onto it on YT but I never heard it before. Hidden gem.

When you are listening to a great forgotten song like this, just look to the right and you can find more great old forgotten classics like "Kiss Me Baby" by the Beach Boys. Who cares what Justin Beiber's next song will sound like. There was enough great songs done in the 50's, 60', and 70's that will keep you satisfied if you live to be 100.

Things were progressing so fast in 1965. The Beatles began the year with "Help" and "Ticket to Ride", and this was a very quick answer to that in the spring. But really, I think this song pre-figured a lot of the folk-rock that we would hear later that year from The Byrds and The Turtles. "Girl Don't Tell Me" was the bridge between "Help" and The Byrds.

I remember now, this song was a B side for some other song which reminds me when Paul Anka in 1957 hoped to have a hit with, "Don't gamble with love", On the B side was what Paul thought was a silly song called DIANA, we'll that "B" song called Diana went on to become the number one hit song of 1957.

A very very great single that seemed to go unnoticed. What a thrill to find this song on You Tube!

I'd crank it up for the middle 8 with headphones on just to here the guitar and drums go from ear to ear.
