I first heard Tera Melos when I was 12 or 13, but I didn't like it because it was too chaotic for me. And at that time, I was into pop punk, emo post hardcore stuff. After 6 years of listening to almost all styles of music, punk, all types of metal, prog rock etc. They all sounded the same and repetitive. I just got bored and sick of it! Tera Melos doesn't play music that people expect to hear. So basically it's a big F-YOU to all of us that think we know what music sounds like. Which I love.

When you listen to their music, you have to have an open mind to really appreciate what each musician is doing. They aren't a band you can just jump in and start listening to. Sure, at times they just play random stuff but that's just what they do for fun. It's not meant to be taken seriously anyway.
