Sunny Gale had some support of Philadelphia TV programs, but it turned out not to be enough. So sad for her she didn't hit the jackpot with Wheel of fortune. It's not a terribly good song, but if she would have made it to the top of the charts, that would have been all the PR she needed for kickstarting her career. But her small record company got pushed from the tracks by the big players, who used almost howitzers to blast away Gale's version from the charts. Talent alone is not enough !

Terri Stevens was the wife of a record executive as I recall and got to sing the song on Peggy Como's T.V. show hosted over the summer by Julius LaRosa. Sunny's version was the more interesting record but Sunny just never got the promotion ANY singer needs to have hits. It's amazing she got the hits she did. She did make a nice little fortune FOR RCA Victor.
