COSMIC CHARLIE

One of my favs of from this Sugarloaf. I saw them when they were called chocolate Hair. Played at my school ... Prom or something.. Ha.. Jerry Corbetta is a great organ player. A master. Music today is no where close to what is out there today.. Thank god it is on the internet. So youth can see musicians with their craft.. What can really be done with some talent.

Gotta say, XM Deep Tracks is the best. I would have never heard this song otherwise. What a great song!

I loved this song so much bought the vinyl LP way back when. Wore it out. Still one of my all time favorites. XM Deep Tracks plays it every now and then. I have it on Spotify and MP3. You guys rocked.

Hey Bob -- I always loved this song; so I can searching for it! Sounds like something Jay Ferguson might do -- and that is a compliment -- but you guys had your own unique sound and style. A lot of "musicians" today couldn't do this live and sound like this. Can't listen to this in the car though -- guaranteed speeding ticket!

I know there's a lot of old hippies on this blog, but I'm an old Army soldier. We too enjoyed the music greatly. In fact, we used this song to pump us up on Huey gun ships. Imagine blasting through the air with your M-60's blazing to this tune in the background. Better than your LSD I think...

This is more or less on the same line as "Green Eyed Lady", big long jam tune. I love it

Very cool! Haven't heard this tune in probably 30 years. Organ riffage at 3:09 has some shades of the solo in "Green Eyed Lady" in it. Different melodically, but has some similar harmonies and rhythmic feel to parts of the Doobie Brother's "Daughters of the Sea." Long live Rock!
