Remember seeing J.Y. in the 90`s when he took his own band on tour and played nightclubs!The decline of western civilization tour I believe.He opened with this one and it sounded just like this!He came to Florida twice and caught him both times.Pretty cool.

STYX was at their absolute best with this album following The Grand Illusion. The Great White Hope has multi-meanings. Long story short..."they knew that while writing it! The whole album is outstanding & had they stayed this course (easy to say) they would have been truly recognized for the GREAT band they were! Two thumbs WAY UP!! GOD BLESS

My best memories of life and Styx includes Dave Yoshinari, the inventor of Styx's sound distortion unit nick-named "The Yoshinorator". I believe he is listed in the credits in more than one album including PoE. May he rest in peace as my greatest mentor and my friend.

I'll never forget the first time I heard this song. Went to see Styx on the Pieces of Eight tour. I didn't know who Styx was, I just wanted to see the opening act (Angel). My best friend and my brother both said that Styx sucked, they played wimpy music. But Styx opened with this song and blew me away. Oh, and my brother and my best friend both stopped saying that Styx sucked after the concert. LOL.
