Funny isn't it, there are times when i wish my 2 girls knew how painful it is to worry about your kids, as it might help keep them safe, but then i wouldn't wish that worry on anyone so in some respects i hope its a pain they never know, but, so far i've been lucky, and they make me proud every day, so in the end it all balances out and its worth it. Brilliant song, as are all Steve Earle songs :)
