.....And what's more, it would make me happy to have people call their local radio station and request this song. Enough callers might just get their attention and FINALLY give this song it's due. I have played it on my show with a community radio station and gotten terrific comments. Thank you to those of you who will do that. It has always amazed me that this song has never established itself as a Christmas "fixture" on mainstream radio stations. It's one of the most beautiful Christmas songs written in modern times. Whatever one thinks of Steve Earl, this is a deeply spiritual song that is deserving of recognition the world over. Well done Steve. It has been a favourite of mine ever since I discovered it years ago. Country's "Bad Boy" has a lot more going on inside him than most people realize. Merry Christmas!
