The song is about death, but approached in such a delicate and charming way. "Sans le fear of impending doom. Life is like banquet food: pleasure to peruse"= Without fear of death, life is something to be enjoyed without regret. Disappear=death. "I'm out of here", etc. "Stir the dust underneath the thrust of my clicking heals"= Out of my love and lust for life, I will make my mark, no matter how fleeting it is. She is both a lyrical and musical genius.
