Pearl Jam. Sleight Of Hand. on Binaural. I hope this captures types of images you see whenever listening. If you are curious about the artwork, many of the photographs are by Scott Mutter, and some others are stills from the Andrey Tarkovskiy science fiction movie Stalker (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0079944/)

Lyrics Here:

Routine was the theme,... he'd wake up,..wash and pour himself

Into uniform,... something he hadn't imagined being...

As the merging traffic passed,... he found himself staring,..

Down,... at his own... hands..

Not remembering the change,... not recalling the plan,

Was it...?

He was okay,... but wondering... about wandering

Was it age?... By consequence?... or was he moved by

Sleight of hand?

Mondays were made to fall,... lost on a road he knew by heart

It was like a book he read in his sleep,... endlessly...

Sometimes he hid in his radio,... watching others pull into their homes

While he was drifting...

On a line,... of his own,... off the line,... on the side

Bye the by,.... as dirt turned to sand,

As if moved by sleight of hand...

When he reached the shore of his... clip-on world...

He resurfaced to the norm

Organized his few things,... his coat and keys...

Any new realizations... would have to wait...

Til he had more time,... more time...

Time to dream,... to himself... he waves goodbye,

To himself... I'll see you on the other side...

Another man...moved by sleight of hand...

To me, quality-wise, there isn't much difference between their top 6 albums. Then there's a dropoff. It has fluctuated over the years, but for now: 1. Ten 2. Vs. 3. Yield 4. No Code 5. Vitalogy 6. Binaural 7. Riot Act 8. Pearl Jam 9. Backspacer 10. Lightning Bolt.

You're truly missing out if you don't give Binaural more than a few listens. It's some of their best stuff, and you'll never hear it other than live or in your headphones. It's really a solid piece of work.

This song sends you away... Hope, despair, anger, power, energy, beauty, all in in one song. This album is definately the darkest they got, though inventive with sound, others more raw, punk, rock, melodic, either way pearl jam continue to dominate. Wouldn't even try to select me best list, depends on my mood, the weather, or what i am doing... They all win!
