I relate to so much in Elliott's songs also, I had a very hard childhood and was also basically alone so when I was very little i turned to God, my parents didn't take me to church but I went with all my friends' families to church and found so much comfort. When things got bsd for me as a teen I turned to drinking and lost faith but I would always come back to God, down on my knees asking for help... even when I didn't believe i just said the words and felt better. <3 I don't go to church tho

I love all of these videos you put together for ES songs. This song in particular means a lot to me because in my life I feel extremely alone, every people that has even chose to be in my life has: died, moved or done a complete 180 and overnight stopped caring about me. I feel so cursed but for some reason this song makes me feel just a little whole. "when it was me, I was momentarily proud, drunk of dreams that I'm glad I didn't say out loud" probably best describes my life lol
