I agree with previous posts about Zal being unique as guitar player. billy Rankin recorded an album in US long time ago and flied Zal in for a short guitar solo on a song and the recording ppl could not understand why that was necessary.....They thought Billy mighy as well put down a solo.....But after Zal stepped in and made his solo....Jaws were dripping.....and they got a new perspective about guitar solos.....Really miss Zal in the music business.....

If ever a band deserved to be called 'Sensational' the S.A.H.B. is it! I still listen to the albums I bought in the 70s and they still sound brilliant.

Sadly both SG's were stolen with all the rest of our equipment in Miami, while touring with Jethro Tull in the '70's

Zal. My god... What a "sensational" guitarist. His solo on songs like Vambo (SAHB) are brilliant and exciting! Guitarists lucky enough to hear him are always impressed and marble at his accuracy, bending power and lovely vibrato. He's got it all.

jesus christ, its amazing how much he influenced Steve Clarks playing! I'd never heard of Zal Cleminson before just reading on Steve's Memorial Website that his second greatest influence behind J.P was Cleminson. Glad I checked him out- this guy is completely under rated!

I agree, but Max is so good that I accepted him...and so would Alex. However, SAHB without Zal is wrong...completely wrong-and I couldn't watch them without him.

Zal EFFIN' Cleminson is in a class all of his own. NOBODY comes even close----Zal is the baddest of all baddass guitarslingers, and his loss from the concert stage leaves a huge void.
