The "Final Solution of the Jewish question" (German: "Endlösung der Judenfrage") was the systematic genocide of European Jews by the National Socialists in Germany during World War Two. Between July 1941 and May 1945 at least six million Jewish people suffered death in the so-called concentration camps, more than one million of them in the gas chambers of the extermination camp Auschwitz-Birkenau.

The "Kristallnacht" ("crystal night") was an anti-Jewish pogrom in Nazi Germany from the 9th until the 10th of November 1938, when 91 Jews were killed and 25,000 to 30,000 were arrested and placed in concentration camps.

Many historians account that date as the starting point of the systematic persecution of Jews and therefore the Holocaust.

Heinrich Himmler, Reichsführer-SS and chief architect of the Holocaust (secret speech in Posen/ Poznań, 1943):

"We have the moral right, we had the duty to our people to do it, to kill this people who wanted to kill us."

CAUTION!

I won't tolerate any racist, discriminatory or in any other form inappropriate comments! This song neither glorifies war, nor National Socialism, but should be considered as a historical work.

"No, we don't glorify anything, we just tell stories about things that have happened." (Rikard Sundén, Sabaton)

----------

I promise I'm gonna keep this comment short. I'm from germany. There are still people who say that nobody ever burned in Ausschwitz. Denying the holocaust is a crime in germany. I've been to Ausschwitz, I've seen it and I had nightmares for 3 days. I'm only 19 but I can tell how cruel and merciless it all was. In fact every german does. I'm not defending anything that happened because it was hell. But in germany we have this kind of silent guilt. Germany still feels guilty for what happened so many years ago and I don't think that we should. Nobody who's alive today had any part in it. Of course it should never be forgotten. The students are bombarded with it in school in every single subject. Putting this heavy burden on every single german at the age of 13. As a german you can't say the word "jewish" without people looking at you. Every single nation on earth can say that they're proud of their country without being judged. We can't.

Cool song. One of my grand grand fathers died in Auschwitz the other one survived. The others escaped being captured and joined the Serbian Partisans.Such a good song about such inhuman events. I still like the music.

the holocaust was a very tragic event, Hitler rounded up millions on pretty much innocent people and blamed them for Germanys problems. How could this type of atrocity take place? Hope. The German people were in a massive depression, baskets were worth more than the money in them. Hitler said " follow me, ill lead you to a better Germany." And the German people followed him blindly. Such a genocide should never happen again, and if it does you can by god count on justice to put it's foot down and say "ENOUGH!!!"

I wonder if some kind of metal ballad is a fitting form to remember the shoah. I mean its sounds cool, i like the melody, the beat, the song in a whole, but it kinda confuses me to feel in this way about a theme like that.

Genocide is wrong no matter what, every human being has the right to exist unless they deny another human being from doing so. I would be surprised of Israel's stance towards the Armenian genocide by Turkey where it not for Turkey's value as an ally, I'm sure that Israel would take a different stance. The sad truth is that justice is always overshadowed by political interests.

Hitler kills 4 000 000 he is the Devil itself. Staling kills 23 000 000 (but they are Russians why would the west call that a genocide after all the hate they contain for Russian people) Mao kills 60 000 000 but he is just a historical person. The reason for hating the Fuhrer so much is because of the Jews, "The god chosen nation" aka the biggest racists in this world that are now ruining it for all of us.... The Balkans, Armenia, Egypt and the north Africans were under Turkish genocide for 500 years but again no one gives a fuck. Just some weeks ago there was a hundred years since the Armenian genocide which was somewhat 2 000 000 or so. Half the holocaust and Obama said that this was just some mass murdering not admire it as an actual genocide because Turkey has alot to pay to the Armenians just like how Germany paid the Jews alot of money. The Jewish state of Israel even said that this thing was fake O_o. I can show you the sculls and the Armenian people can show them too. If a Jew ever presents to me anything more than just some pictures (With the same guys on them) representing them as "Holocaust" i will admit the "genocide" Sadly they firstly mentioned this "genocide" in 1956 which is 11 years after that. And OMG if Hitler wanted to keep that in secret how did we end up with those pictures ? Obviously the Soviet army didn't bring a camera with them when they were going to Auschwitz. And even if they had (somehow) how didn't they capture anything on their way but only the "Holocaust" with the same people on every picture ?Sorry for my English it is so fucking late here :\ Can't think clearly
