What's with all the open tuning guitars it's like an easy way out of actually learning chords he's got his stuff to know and be a little hard to play something in a different without switching to another guitar

When it just be easier to use a line 6 pod for this most of them tend to emulate different types of heads and effects would be easier than using three or four different amps altogether amp for clean and an another for rhythm and yet another for lead usually most amps have multiple channels but in his circumstance couldn't you just get it custom amp head they have different variations of all those amps together in one unit hold up you can still accomplish this with a line 6 or Fender Mustang

I, myself, love Planet Waves cables. The only ones I'll use between my guitars and my amps.

Still think his live sound has issues because so much gets left up to the front-of-house guy of the venue they play (imagine if it's an outdoor rock festival). He controls the dual amps for every stage on which cabs it goes just to get it how *he* likes it to sound on stage, but what the audience hears through the PA is controlled by the venue's "sound guy" and he just gets a bunch of Palmer ADIG-ST (pga-05) feeds, and the rest is up to him. Combining two amps to go through the same speaker is asking for phase issues, which he doesn't have on stage since he uses multiple cabs. The amps are also dialed in to get the sound he likes on stage, not the sound that is the best in the venue.I hope they either get a dedicated soundman on the next tours or he puts a more simple set up through an Axe or single amp just for the PA system, let him use on stage whatever he wants :).

I had no idea that these guys still play out. Is the original singer still playing with them or did they get a new singer? I know he had a bad time with alcohol and drugs etc...

You know, you guys have been getting to literally EVERY part of the rig now, but you skipped the mic at least in this. I'm not really sure if you ask now, since there haven't been too many rig rundowns I've been interested in lately, but you should ask what mics they use. That's HUGE, more than cables and picks for sure.

Just met him and pretty much hung with him on Wednesday, and I can easily say that he is one really nice and friendly guy. I've been listening to his work for most of my life, and will continue to because he is an insane musician and songwriter, truly.

"I don't get any of the fractal [axe fx] but the guys up front say it really adds to my lead tone."Translation: "all this fancy stuff is just for my monitor. The sound guys bypass everything and just use the axe fx."Lolol jk.

They should do a Rebecca Dirks mock "rig rundown" sometime! She probably plays guitar and has a pedal collection too. :) Save it for April fools!

He can just throw everything into the garbage and keep that Axe Fx II.
