The 1930's had Robert Johnson, the 1970's had Gram Parsons.

You mean like decimating it to an alien form. What a pity.

Perfect cover, and I apologize on behalf of my generation for what we have done to music.

Lucinda Williams is one of my all time favorites and together with David Crosby. Couldn't ask for more. Lucinda is an american songrighter who gets to me, I get goosebumps on this and other songs like "Those Three Days and Like A Rose".

David & Lucinda?...couldnt ask for more....Gram Parsons was the power behind 'Sweetheart Of The Rodeo' and influenced the Stones on Bakersfield style of country...

Oh, and i remember something you once told meAnd i'll be damned if it did not come trueTwenty thousand roads i went down, down, downAnd they all lead me straight back home to you...

Hey Annie Rich do you know this old Gram Parsons song beautifully sung by Lucinda Williams and David Crosby. It has your name in it.

I pity the poor souls whove never discovered this genre of musical mood food! It started w/ Whiskeytown for me and Ive grown to love all the myriad of bands since the 1990's.

when is the last time you have seen any cover on Youtube get 105 likes and no dislikes? INCREDIBLE...normally at least 1 jackass would be on here whining that it was a "travesty" to the original artist...

The best version of this song I've ever heard, except for Grams. Really moving.

....as i understood it, while hanging with stones, Gram shared the gospel with them, later, when Exile on Main Street came out ,inside the cover, mick responds "i don't want to talk about j-sus i want to see His face"....a truly remarkable statement.
