The 'eeey' is sung by Ed, and the harmony to Thom's melody is Jonny on synth. Nothing programmed.

For those wondering, Ed O'Brien sings the harmonies on this tune, as he does an ALL Radiohead songs.

The rarest of all wonderful Radiohead oddities. Wish I could get a copy of a studio recording.

That low melodic line following Thom's vocals during the chorus (apart from Ed's yells) is actually Jonny's organ, not another voice. The Pinkpop video makes it clear.

Nah, Ed's busy singing the "hey." And you can see Phil, and he's not singing. I have to imagine that it's a preprogrammed track.

Could be Phil, he does some backing vocals too.

when I hear this, I already know and even cold play admitted that on their first album that they took influences by specific bands for each albums direction. and Parachutes song "yellow" definitely had to have taken influence from this song because the notes are just uncanny. all great minds think alike, but heck as much as I like Yellow by cold play, man does radiohead have a way with their sound, especially with this legendary track...that has never been on any of the albums!

He's yelling the "heyyyyyyyyyyyy" part when the harmonies are happening. It might be a programed backing track. Weird.
