A nice little gem from a 70's German TV show. This song was a single B-side and it appears on the 2000 reissue of "Exotic Birds and Fruit" CD. Couldn't see this performance elsewhere on YouTube so decided to upload it. Found it when trawling through some of the many old videos I have. (I have dated this as 1974 because of the album it appears on as a bonus track and because of the material played by the other artists featured on the same show.)

Whoa!! Mick's guitar and Gary's piano along with the rest of the band really jam!! This is one of the best Rock jams I've ever heard in fact! Draddil, thank you so much for uploading it!

In the seventies I had a song recorded on tape Procol Harum spindle. I listened to them over and over. It was for us, living in a communist country, a breath of freedom. I was at a concert of this band. The concert was held in Wroclaw.

One of the great Brit bands who have been obscured by time. traffic was another, as well as The Move, who wound up becoming The Electric Light Orchestra. Don't leave out Soft Machine, either...

@Justweezie Hi ... "A Dream in Every Home" is from 1991's Prodigal Stranger CD, available at most outlets in Canada, & on Amazon.com.... one of my least favourite PH songs.

@jon1156 Yes, yer right, it's really hard in Procol songs, to play guitar through all those tricky modulations & not sound like someone sight reading. One off note really stands out, in that context. Geoff Whitehorn does a fine job these days filling the size 15 shoes of Robin Trower & Mick Grabham, & he has thankfully kept the Eddie Van Halenisms to a minimum lately.

@jon1156 Nothin' special? the man plays with soul, as all Procol guitarists have, thank you very much!
