Just the Two of Us was a 1968 duet album of traditional hurtin' country music by Porter Wagoner and Dolly Parton. It included the singles "We'll Get Ahead Someday" and "Holding Onto Nothing", both of which reached the top ten on the U.S. country singles charts, as well as the standard "The Dark End of the Street" and the Parton-penned weeper, "Jeannie's Afraid of the Dark', which would become a fan favorite.

Dolly has been solo long enough for us to forget that she was once employed by Mr Wagoner. I recall their frequent pairing, in the early 70s..
