Amazing cover of Robert Johnson's Sweet Home Chicago, by Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac.

If you don't have a smile on your face after listening to this great band, my friend, get help.

This is the true Fleetwood Mac line-up.

The one that will live on forever and never die.

Peter Green

Jeremy Spencer

John McVie

Danny Kirwan

Mick Fleetwood

Where ever those men are, I thank you for playing great blues music and putting out lovely records.

Now, get back together and tour.lol...

And to Stevie Nicks, you suck.

It blows my mind how much great music these guys put together in so short of a time. Wish Peter never had left the group. They would have been HUGE!

"I'm not saying you don't remember it -I'm just saying it didn't happen". I'm afraid I shall have to steal that line.

This is exactly the kind of Chicago blues I miss so badly.

@notsovelvet I recall reviews from that era. Buckingham-Nicks' reviews were glowing - until after they were recruited to Fleetwood Mac (shrug). Mick Fleeetwood obviously liked the album.

@MickeyYahoo Or maybe it's that it isn't online. The web is an amazing place but the odds of finding a review from 1973 aren't too great.

@vbdby The only place that "vinyl turd" quote shows up on Google is when you write it. I'm not saying you dont' remember it - I'm just saying it didn't happen.

I recall some doofus (here on YouTube somewhere) expressing regret that Peter Green didn't have a good enough rhythm section for him. Um... Could that doofus and everyone listen to this delicious solid groove Mick and John are laying down here? Beautiful. Great harp by Pete, too. And yes, notsovelvet, I have a smile on my face, listening to this. How could I not?
