Claro que no todo tiempo pasado, o en esta caso la música tiene necesariamente porqué haber sido o ser mejor.Creo simplemente, que creaciones musicales de los 80 y parte de los 90,por su especial riqueza musical melódica como por ejemplo en este caso, pueden ser maravillosamente arregladas y enriquecidas aún mas por las orquestas sinfónicas. Peter Cetera (ex voz líder de la legendaria banda "Chicago"), no se identificó por una notable voz, sino por su magnífica y muy personal forma de interpretación continuándolo luego como solista. "Hard To Say I'M Sorry" (Difícil decir lo siento) la considero una de las mas bellas melodías compuestas en los 80,escrita por Peter Cetera y David Foster.ALGUNOS DATOS DESCONOCIDOS DE ESTA CANCIÓN:David Foster (productor)tocó el piano en la pista principal de la canción original, aparte de hacer el trabajo de productor.Pero eso no fue todo, ya que en la sesión de grabación también hubieron cambios liderados por el productor. Para la grabación de "Hard to Say I'm Sorry", Cetera y Foster decidieron no llamar a los demás integantes de la banda (Chigago) y contratar a unos músicos de sesión, en donde estaban tres integrantes de la banda "Toto" (conocida por su éxitos "África" "On the line", etc) ". Estos eran Steve Lukather en guitarra junto David Paich y Steve Porcaro que ayudaron en los sintetizadores.Los únicos integrantes de "Chicago" que participaron en la grabación de este hit fueron el mencionado Peter Cetera (a cargo de la voz principal, el bajo y las guitarras) y Bill Champlin, que por esos días se integraba a la banda para tocar teclados.
