Every song after he made it big, including his new album is disappointing. His lyrics are fucking sod aweful now and reused, collapsed and simplified to sell easier through mainstream revenues. He was at his peak and I just suppose his newer material is the calm from the storm but it's lacking. Compare any of his new songs from his latest album to any track on D&S and it doesn't even come close.Such. A. Shame.

The reminiscent memories seem to be his own and those possibly of his father or brother, i.e. "we kept her bedroom exactly the same" source: best guess
