Paint it Black - Vietnam War video free download
Paint it Black by The Rolling Stones, accompanied by footage of the Vietnam War. (The link to the side describing it as a Beastie Boys Song is WRONG, YouTube automatically set that when the video was uploaded, I have NO control over it.) I realize this is a sensitive video, but please, keep any "nasty" comments to yourself or discuss elsewhere, this is much appreciated. Such comments will be removed, and after multiple cases you will be blocked from the video. If you do not wish to watch, move along and leave it at that. Note that the song is NOT the "theme song" of this war (or anything of that sort), rather just a song to play with the footage. At no point was it ever intended to be the "themesong" of the Vietnam War.

Bad War Evil Americans!!!! all the rhetoric about what US policy should have been like in the 70's ignores what the soldiers went through in fighting this war, whether you agree with the war happening or not, you have to respect those who fought and died for their country. And I am not a Yank, but I am ex military and a soldier goes where he is told without question, because that is what he signs up to. Ours is not to reason why, ours is just to do or die. The civilian death toll in the Vietnam War was incredibly high. Once a region was under the control of the Viet Cong, it was open season on EVERYONE in that area. Villages were bombed, napalmed or burned to the ground. People were machine-gunned on sight from helicopters. Hey, they're in the enemy's territory, they must be enemies, right? Crazy, stupid, evil.
