In 1992 First Call released a pair of videos on vocal styles. One of those videos contained this jazzed-up version of "O Sifuni Mungu." It's simply amazing!

Thanks for posting this sound file. I also love the song "O Sifuni Mungu". Thanks to Marty McCall and others for composing this song & its tune as an adaptation of St. Francis Assisi's hymn "All Creatures Of Our God & King".. I added this video to a post about this song on my cultural blog. Google Pancocojams O Sifuni Mungu (Information, Videos, & Lyrics). I'm trying to identify the exact year of First Call's original recording of "O Sifuni Mungo". Does anyone know that date?

I love this song by First Call, but I like the original better (maybe because I've listened to it about a thousand times). I bless all three of them for blessing us with this great version of this great song. God be praised.

To the person who was wondering about the piano part, First Call released a music book of many of their popular songs. It is not for the faint of heart! This song has the trio's parts, a four-part background singer part, and the piano part. It is an amazing book, and I wish I could find my copy!

I first discovered this piece by First Call back in the late 1970's or early 1980's. I have the record somewhere in the house. I so fell in love with this song, I took a 90 minute cassette tape & taped it over and over to fill the tape up. I've since lost track of that tape, but I'm very happy God sent me this u tube link. I thought I had lost it forever. Praise God!

@interpreter2006 That actually answers a question, I was wondering what language it was... Thought it was either Swahili or Zulu.
