I know this original post is two years old but it really is well said. In a few months I will be 50 and let me give you younger people some encouragement. I grew up with Budgie,Atomic Rooster,Them,Black Sabbath,Deep Purple,Thin Lizzy,Judas Priest and then in the 80's Motorhead,Iron Maiden and so on Let me tell you metel just keeps getting better. Insomnium,Noumena,Kalmah,Omnium Gatherum,Amon Amarth,Ghost Brigade and Opeth. I even like the Italian doom band The Foreshadowing. Long live metal!11 years ago

Im from finland and i think this band here, this (not so well known around the world) Noumena is in my opinion the best fucking band for all times from metal music, and you might ask why?!?
