It's true that with age comes wisdom & beauty. No one can express life any better than Neil Diamond! When I finally saw him in concert it was more electric then any concert I ever had been to.

I acquired my copy of Melody Road on Sunday, deluxe edition with two additional songs, Remember, written by Nilsson, and Something, by George Harrison, having listened to the four songs posted on You Tube, The Art Of Love, Nothing But A Heartache, Something Blue, and Ooo Do I Wanna Be Yours, it promised much, and the whole album doesn't disappoint, there are some fantastic tracks, the four mentioned obviously, but other standouts are, First Time, In Better Days, and Alone At the Ball, the remaining songs are equally fabulous, where none can be deemed as merely fillers,Once again Neil has hit the spot, his clever use of lyrical rhyme, his delivery and ability to draw you in, his voice is as good as at any time in his career, this album can be ranked as one of his best, Neil has created a masterpiece here, with throwbacks to his seventies heyday, Melody Road is a fantastic album, telling the story of a life in music, and of a man searching for that elusive thing called love, 5 stars.

This is an absolutely beautiful song, the words, the melody, it captures a moment in any relationship, Neil's voice is just right on this song, the mood is perfect, the album is by all accounts awesome.
