You know I never realized when I was kid growing up listening to John and his songs that this song is about colonization and america but now as a veteran AIMster decades later it's totally clear, especially in this slow stripped down version. Queen Isabella (of spain) stay away from that fella - christopher columbus whom she funded to sail to america. Participating in this diseased colonial system only perpetuates it - it's like pulling when you ought to be shovin'. DEcolonize your minds. Peace.
