Metallica - Creeping Death (live at Moscow 1991) HD:

For Those About To Rock is the name of a video containing live performances by AC/DC, The Black Crowes, Metallica and Pantera.

AC/DC, Metallica, The Black Crowes, Pantera and E.S.T. made history when they performed at the very first open-air rock festival to be held in the former Soviet Union. Captured on film, For Those About To Rock... We Salute You: Monsters in Moscow presents a concert feature signalling the arrival of a new political order, demanded by the people and heralded in by the sounds of some of the biggest names in rock music.

In September 1991, only a few days after the August Putsch failed , 500,000 rock music fans converged in Moscow to enjoy the very first open-air rock concert.

The evening kicked off with Pantera taking to the stage. Phil Anselmo did his very best to get the crowd going, but it seemed that the fans required little encouragement and obviously years of living in rock denial sent some into overdrive. Russian band E.S.T was next up, but the evening really took shape with the arrival of The Black Crowes.

A phenomenal performance from Metallica is another high-point of this concert. Old school classics Enter Sandman, Creeping Death and Fade To Black deliver an eardrum battering and by the time the legendary AC/DC take centre stage, the evening has already cemented its place in rock history.

For Those About To RockWe Salute You: Monsters in Moscow also offers a look at the efforts of the Russian Army to try and postpone the concert (not on the original VHS release).

Metallica: 0. "Ectasy Of Gold"

1. "Enter Sandman" (Hammett, Hetfield, Newsted, Ulrich)

Imagine the following:A Collapsing Government who used to rulle one of the most powerful military forces in history. An event the size and magnitude of Monsters of Rock being held in the country of said government. Imagine that the security of said event in said country of said government is done by the military forces of said country. Now imagine that the band that plays in said festival is an heavy/Thrash Metal one and that the authority(or military to be more accurate) are unaware that such musical genre when played live is followed by some sort of dance designated as 'mosh'. Now imagine that the authority forces, when seeing people pitting one against the other, starts intervening to separate the crowd while bashing them with their night sticks mercilessly. Now imagine that in the middle of all this there is this song playing whose chorus starts with a repetion of the following word several: DIE DIE DIE.You can now stop imagining: Mettalica-Creeping Death, Monsters of Rock '91 Tushino Airfield, Moscow, Russia (Former USSR)11 deaths, 200 rapes.

Better times for sure, this is when they were Alcoholica and partied like fucking mad, constantly drunk, whores and sluts everywhere, no kids yet just fucking party or get the fuck out of my way, you could smoke literally everywhere, they were still called stewardesses and coke was cheap and GOOD. Now we have gay ass liquor laws like .08, MADD, and crappy cocaine!
