Buddy of mine in high school went back home to Seattle for a month during summer vacation, when he came back he let me borrow a cassette said it was some local band up there. I loved it. It was the self titled album and it had this song on it. Had the same album cover, cassette was black with some label on it. This was before Elektra signed them. Few months later There it was in the record store under the Elektra label. I always wondered why it didn't have big guns on it. .....I should have stole that cassette.

I first heard this on Z-Rock back in 1986 and could never seem to locate it anywhere here in the States. Thank Christ it's now on the reissued first album. "A CIRCLE OF STONE AND A MOUNTAIN OF BONE!" Doesn't get much more metal than that!

@Ragebailey Well, if we're talkign about the band, than yeah I guess. Although, early Shrapnel (the original name) songs are hardly thrash, but basically sound like second-rate NWOBHM (although not from Britain).

@MusicSportsPolitics hey actually metal church released some demos and recordings before metallica had released hit the lights offically. metal church was literally the very first thrash bands in america. now they didnt get notiriaty till 1984 when there first full length album came out. BUT they were around and established earlier than most people think

@Axxisss @Axxisss This is the best quality I could find for this song at the time; and really, the quality isn't too far off from the first album. And since you're the first person out of almost 16,000 views to complain, it doesn't look like all the "true" Metal Church fans really give a fuck. Just enjoy the track.

this track wasnt on the american cd released by metal church called metal church i think lable is elektra but dont quote me 1886..good to hear as a bonus tho

@69Curtdog It's called Glam Metal, and I don't understand how it is Metal. The only band I would associate with metal from the genre would be Motley Crue or GNR (cuz they're right in between both genres)
