What a soft and sweet piece of country folk music. Brilliantly simple but captivating. I've been playing it over and over.

Those guitar riffs are as close to heaven as we get on this rock.

I was listening to this song heavily in 2010 when I went to Ghana for an internship. It was a scary experience to be going to a new continent, but I was also excited to have this amazing adventure ahead of me. It was pure coincidence but I was in a similar situation to the people in this song. Every time I felt in over my head this song would calm me, and remind me that the most challenging times are the ones that often define your life.

That whole last bit with Dixon is probably the most incredible thing I've ever heard. You know, "The morning tide has raised the capes of Delaware" and "Another day will make it clear why your stars should guide us here."
