Strange her voice sounds already damaged since the video dates back 1994! Her vocal cords started to show such harm a few years later. Maybe that's because it was jaded that day. Still, she did a breathtaking performance!!

Two things are wrong with this live performance!1...she has three big ass black women who could blow the roof off a house with their voices standing behind her, yet all you hear are three differently layered versions of Mariah's own voice doing back up! And...2...The song is piano driven and there's one right behind her with no one even playing it LMAO!

How can someone compare a pop singer with an opera one?? i mean come on!! opera singers dont sing as often and dont get the pressure to be singing every single time like this woman has!! if u know her carrier n her life just a bit ud noe she has sang quiet too much!! even when she wasnt supposed to, like when she were sick n stuff she still had to sing n go to gigs n stuff, plus the audio checks and the rehearsals are just like the main show where she had to sing perfectly! give her a break!! she has given us so much!!! look it up here on yt u can find many videos of her and her peers like Whitney who had to sing waaay too many times, the industry sucks the talent out of this women! no wonder why they after the years start to struggle with voice issues! stills she has managed to maintain her voice decently good enough! n thats an achievement! Im thankful to God for her voice! she has graced me many years.

are you okay? mariah carey is a pop singer, female. pavarotti: male, opera singer. Opera and pop music are totally different. female voicebox is more fragile. Mariah used her voice ever since she was 4, practicing every day till 3 or 4 in the morning. She has nodules in her throat, it's a disease. she soon got worse, that's why she also had problems in singing. But she also gave us the best performance one can ever imagine! she's a great singer.

she did not perform many shows, and her voice started showing damage in just 6 years, and considerable damage by 8 years. Do u think she sings as much as an opera singer LOL? Pavarotti's voice was fantastic for at least 30 years FYI
