I wish she would do more songs with less harmonies. I think as her career kept evolving she really liked to double up on them, but its not needed all the time. Her voice is so beautiful in the raw like this. I'd like another Acoustic EP. Perhaps #1s Acoustic?

Woooohooo! The last 20 seconds of this is golden! Her level of intonation is superb! "Ay bay bay!" is my favorite part, the color and texture of her whisper voice during this clip is so magical.It is so interesting to see the almost lack of connection between her chest voice and whisper voice. She sang with such ease in her whisper voice, yet with so much tension in her chest voice. Luckily for Mariah, being that she is an expert musician, doesn't sing out of tune despite other factors affecting her voice at this time, so it's not necessarily unpleasant to the ear.Also it is interesting that almost none of the depth, either musical or emotional, that was displayed here was displayed on the actual album lolz. 2008 era Mariah Carey had so much potential to be more than it was.It's probably also interesting to those reading this how I started so supportive and complimentary and turned so critical lolz. The life of a lamb.Nevertheless this is one of her best performances post TEOM. Like probably one of my favorite. She displays much vulnerability and confidence! The subtle confidence she displays; I mean, to literally do a commercial of live, raw singing, and she sounds amazing!
