Allow me to clarify something to those of you who would rush to judgment of the musicians on that stage. I am eminently qualified to speak on it, as I was on that stage that day. At the last minute, Loretta's management decided to rearrange her songs. We had an impromptu rehearsal on the bus. Fair enough, we were good to go. But onstage, nobody could hear anything. The sound was horrible. We couldn't hear a word she was singing, and she could not hear us. As for those who posted that "the professionals" should have followed her, trust me, that band could follow anyone. We just have to hear them first. Anyone who has ever done concert work on a stage that big knows that bad sound comes with the territory.9 years ago

It was released in 1966 and peaked at #2 on Billboard's Hot Country Singles chart... The song was track one of side one from her album of the same name; and on November 12th, 1966 the album reached #1 {for two weeks} on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart...
