gangster rap is definately over rated but rap is probably the most widely accepted form of music in the galaxy and Chuck D just happened to be one of the founding fathers i myself prefer underground hiphop look it up

It's cool to hear Chuck D acknowledge Doug E Fresh and other pioneer mcs. When I was much younger, it seemed like PE came out of nowhere, fully formed with no direct influences from other rap acts because their sound was so aggressive and disorienting.
