thanks a million! I have a Pickwick 'soul collection vol 2' CD released in 1993, no mention of that CD online - it had a few very rare gems from the 70s and 80s on it, including this one!

I think 1986. It's on CD I bought in France. If you search "Ike & Tina Turner Livin' in the City album" you'll find several different albums - one with 10 tracks, one with 11, and one with 18... released in 86, 93, 95, and 06!

what year did this version come out? it's clearly early 80s (I presume)... the only version i found mentioned online is from 1973. I grew up listening to this exact track!
