Lucinda Williams and Little Milton trade verses on this dynamite version of "Love Hurts". Little Milton had numerous guests on his album, "Welcome to Little Milton" released in 1999. He just didn't have the recognition and popularity that was his due, and this album was to hopefully to let listeners become aware of his great talent. Susan Tedeschi, Delbert McClinton, Keb' Mo', Dave Alvin, Gov't Mule, Peter Wolf, and G. Love, all join in to make this a memorable album...with Little Milton's great voice and guitar holding it all together. ENJOY!

Yes, it is. Sorry to be so late, but wanted you to know I appreciated you leaving a comment and letting me know you stopped by. It means a lot to me. I've been ill for a long time & am just trying to catch up on my responses. Major musicians were the backup, so they were all helping Little Milton out of respect and love. It HAD to turn out beautiful when made with love... My best to you, Moppet

Thanks for listening and leaving such a great comment. Will McFarlane commented earlier on the backup. He & a bunch of great musicians were the side players. They really were wanting to help Little Milton get a re-start. Thanks again. Stop by anytime, Moppet

Have Mercy, I'm still sick. I just saw your comment again & it's great. I have to load your info, but it will be after this weekend. So sorry it's taken so long. I do appreciate your info. Stellar musicians. So nice to hear from a "real" participant! Bet you had so much fun! I imagine it's really wonderful for a musician to get to play with those who are all great & leave their egos at the door. Thank you so much, Moppet

Thanks so much for your info! I will update my comments today or tomorrow. I like to have as much info as possible up. I noticed I didn't have a link to purchase, so I will also add that. I usually have that & any personal sites so the family can benefit instead of a big corp. I am impressed with the info I found about you! WOW. What a career & legacy! Thanks for letting me know & taking the time to do so. My best, Moppet

It was cut at Muscle Shoals Sound. The rhythm section was me, David Hood, Clayton Ivey, and George Lawrence (Roger Hawkins had stopped playing) George is with Poco right now and Tommy Malone. Keb Mo was on acoustic slide. I was electric rhythm and electric slide (Solo). It was a very fun week, and we tracked with some great folks..Delbert, Lucinda, et. al.
