Just watched an old episode of wanted dead or alive and a character referred to his daughter as a "real texas twister".

Yes. Autzen Stadium in Eugene. Probably 1991, as I recall. Little Feat tore it up pretty good. The Dead were kind of listless in contrast.

I'm certain the guys in Phish were listening to Little Feat, and that there are many people who surely listen to both bands myself included. I do also know where you are coming from in suggesting many of the younger fans of this style of music seem to have never even heard of Little Feat. I'd also consider myself more of a Deadhead and can't help remember a legendary performance by Little Feat and The Grateful Dead, I think took place in Oregon.

Great song. Don't know what they were thinking with the video, though. Even allowing for the fact that this was made in 1990 (?), and the "it was all a dream" ending, the whole dangerous-piece-of-p**sy-with-a-shotgun theme is lazy and offensive. Even in a dream, a chick that's gonna open fire on everyone and anything is more trouble than she's worth. And unloading at some Texas State Troopers is much more likely to get you killed than laid.

@clooky04 I'm more of a Deadhead but love little feat. Not a big fan of Phish but I do like some of their stuff. Now about the video I bet that girl has pencil erasers under that top she's wearing!

does anyone who likes these guys also like the music of phish? i do, and i think phish were influenced by this somehow but i doubt too many people listen to both bands. talk amongst yourselves.
