Most ppl don't understand that the main reason most all of today's singers use back up vocal tracks in concert is because they let the record companies use computers to make their voices sound perfect on record. It's then impossible for them to sound that good in concert night after night. Singers that started out before modern computer recording equipment sound just as good live as they ever did on albums regardless of level of talent at singing they have. Lita Ford and Joan Jett were never "gifted" singers. Lemmy"s not gifted at singing, and neither was Joey Ramone, but they sang as good live every night as they did on their albums. It's Rock 'n Roll after all.

@GryphonsBard- you do realize that tattoo is to cover up her asshole ex's name, right? It kind of wasn't really a choice. And she is 55 years old now, not 26. Tho she'd be the first to tell you she's not a singer…At least she's singing unlike a lot of the trash making music today who can't sing without computer help, can't play and are just record company puppets. None of them will have the longevity Lita has had. She's having a great time - Rock On \m/

Worse singer ever (at least she's better than the late Sandy West-awesome drummer-Sandy couldn't sing or write very well) and somebody really fucked up that black widow tattoo, but have much respect as a guitarist/performer and for being a runaways member. She stil has a lot to learn as far as making peace with herself personally.
