Linda is just mesmerizing vocally and visually. She is just getting started here and Johnny loved her for obvious reasons. No one brought rural sounds of the country to rock audiences more than Ronstadt. Beyond her great bands, great song selections and natural unforced sex appeal her voice today seems even more remarkable than ever.

Linda has some Mexican heritage. She has the same attractive very broad face structure as one sees in Mexican American singers Selena Gomez, & Hope Sandoval (of Mazzy Star), & others. I don't think it's a Spanish trait though. I think it comes from Mexican Indian heritage 90% of Mexicans have some of, i.e. 90% of Mexicans have both European & Native Mexican Indian genes, & are thus "mestizos."  And those same broad face types can be seen in ancient images of Mayan & Aztec Indians of Mexico archaeologists have found, & in Mayan Indians still living in Mexico today. A striking form of beauty I like.
